NOW is the National Organization for Women.

NOW is the largest, most comprehensive feminist advocacy organization in the United States today.

From the national NOW bylaws (June 2015)

NOW’s purpose is to take action through intersectional grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life.

Founded in the 1970’s, Pinellas County NOW is a place where you can think globally, and act locally. If you are living in the Pinellas area and have not found a feminist niche where you can work towards creating positive social changes, now you have found the place – Pinellas NOW. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, 6-8pm, at the Barbara S Ponce Public Library in Pinellas, Park, FL.
